LanceTrack is a specialized Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) web application designed to help freelance developers, designers, and creatives manage their clients, track project progress, log billable hours, and provide transparency through a dedicated client-facing portal.
Freelancers often struggle with tool fatigue, managing tasks in one application, tracking time in another, and communicating updates via email or chat. This fragmentation leads to administrative overhead and leaves clients feeling out of the loop. LanceTrack solves this by unifying client management (CRM), task tracking, time logging, and milestone approvals into a single, cohesive platform.
The application features Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), providing two distinct experiences: a comprehensive, feature-rich dashboard for the freelancer to manage operations, and a simplified, read-only portal for clients to track the status of their investments in real-time.
